NÖM Dairy Farmers
With the aid of 35 modern tank trucks, five suppliers' cooperatives deliver an annual total of around 280 million kilograms of raw milk from over 4.000 dairy farms to the NÖM processing plants in Baden, Zwettl and Hartberg. The cooperatives are: Mank, MGN, Zwettl and Ernst GesmbH. 99% of the raw milk supplied by our partner operations in Lower Austria meet the strict legal standards of Quality Level 1. The component substances of the raw milk, for example fat and protein levels are checked three times a month, and twice a month further tests for quality attributes such as bacteria and cell counts are carried out. NÖM AG also accepts organic milk from organic dairy farms in the Waldviertel region for producing Original Waldviertel Organic Milk (Original Waldviertler Bio-Milch). |
